Academy Park features one tennis court, perfect for a friendly match or practice sessions. The court features pickle ball lines with temporary nets for a pickle ball game. It also offers a playground, providing a fun space for children to enjoy outdoor play.

It's important to note that the playground at Academy Park is shared with the adjacent Arts and Science Academy. Therefore, the playground facilities are off-limits to the general public during the academy's operating hours. Visitors should plan their visits accordingly to enjoy the playground.

Leash Law: Dogs are required to be on a leash in all Isanti Parks.

Your Spot for a Game in Isanti!

Academy Park, located at 901 6th Ave Ct NE, is a valued neighborhood park in Isanti, providing dedicated facilities for sports and play. If you're looking to secure a court for your tennis match or practice session, our well-maintained tennis court at Academy Park is available for reservation. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of one day per week per court and a maximum of three hours per reservation for any entity.

The tennis court is generally available during park hours. While Academy Park also features a playground shared with the adjacent Arts and Science Academy (which is off-limits to the general public during academy hours), the tennis court typically remains available for public use and reservations. Online reservations are accepted through the City of Isanti's online system. (Look for "Park Rental" under the "Type" filter when searching for dates).

The Tennis court at Academy Park can also be reserved according to the following fee schedule: 

  • Resident (individual).
    • One court: no charge.
    • Two courts: $6/hour.
  • Nonresident (individual).
    • One court: $6/hour.
    • Two courts: $12/hour.
  • Group, league, business, industry: $15/hour.
  • Nonprofit.
    • One court: $3/hour.
    • Two courts: $6/hour.
  • Per season single court only - rates determined on a case-by-case basis by the Parks and Recreation Board and City Council.
