The Finance Department of the City of Isanti is responsible for maintaining all accounting, internal auditing and financial control services provided to the City Council, the City Administrator, City departments and agencies. The department manages the day-to-day financial transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, investments, fixed assets and project accounting.

The City Council has final authority for adopting the annual budget and establishing the property tax levy. The budget is prepared and presented to the City Council by the Finance department with input and assistance by each department within the City.

Bond Rating: 

The City of Isanti has a bond rating of AA+ confirmed by Standard & Poor's on June 9, 2016.
