Election Judges Needed

We are preparing for the 2026 elections, and election judges play a vital role in ensuring fair, accessible, and well‑run elections.

Election judges staff the City’s two polling locations, administer election procedures, and help protect the rights of all voters.

Primary Election: August 11, 2026
General Election: November 3, 2026

Election Judge Information
• Election Judge pay: $16.50 per hour
• Training and Election Day service are paid
• Part‑time, temporary opportunity

Election Judge Eligibility
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must be eligible to vote
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must not have had voting rights revoked
  • Must not be a candidate on the ballot
  • Must not be the spouse, parent, child, step-relative, or in-law of any candidate on the ballot
  • Must not reside in the same household as any candidate on the ballot
  • Must not serve with a related election judge unless assigned to a different major political party, precinct, or shift.
• Must complete mandatory election judge training
