Attention Dog Owners

Reminder that Dog Licenses are due March 31,2010.  All dog owners must license their dogs annually.  License fees are $10 per year for fixed dogs and $15 per year for non-fixed dogs.  A late fee of $5 will be charged if licensed after March 31, 2010.  Rabies shots for your pets must be up to date when applying for a pet license.  Dog licenses may be applied for at the Isanti Police Department - 401 1st Avenue NW

Pedestrian Bridge Update

February 25, 2009,the House of Representatives approved the Omnibus Appropriations Act. Within that Act, the City of Isanti will receive $950,000 towards the construction of the Pedestrian Bridge that has been proposed to span over Trunk Highway 65, providing a safe crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists.

City of Isanti Awarded Neighborhood Stabilization Funds

On February 26, 2009 the City of Isanti received notification that the City was selected to receive $552,855 in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Funds. The City will use the funds to increase homeownership in targeted neighborhoods where there is a high incidence of foreclosures. The funds do have requirements please contact Lenee at Central Minnesota Housing Partnership at (320)259-0393 for more information.
